With our in-house polyurethane capability we can cater to all forklift and load wheel requirements, including design and manufacture of new and refurbished wheels – servicing both New Zealand, Australia and other international customers.
Because we can complete the whole process on site, we guarantee competitive pricing on a quality product with excellent performance.
Wheel design
Forklift wheels are not one-size-fits-all; so for hard-to-fit wheels, Polytreads can supply specially made castings that are poly-moulded in our own factory.
All our wheels are designed with the end user and forklift agencies in mind, ensuring long life and ease of replacement.
Existing wheels can be also be redesigned to better suit your application, encouraging improved product performance, minimising machinery downtime and reducing maintenance costs.
Refurbishment
Regularly buying new wheels is a cost you can reduce. Polytreads offer a full in-house re-polying or re-banding service as a cost-effective alternative to replacing damaged or worn wheels. Bring in your old hubs and within 7 – 10 days you’ll have a refurbished polyurethane wheel returned. Alternatively use our service exchange system – we carry a large range of refurbished wheels for our service exchange system so send us your old wheel and, provided it’s one of our SE system wheels, we can provide it off the shelf.
We also carry a wide range of band sizes and compounds, and our pressing service is free of charge when you purchase a press-on band tyre from us (pressing at Polytreads workshop only) to help you get your machinery back in operation, faster.
We have the capability to make and supply large quantities through our joint venture partner factory located in china. This factory is equipped with modern high volume processing equipment meeting our high quality standards. In-house degree qualified chemists over-see the polymer production, and we have QA inspection at all relevant process points.
